The two new partners, learn to accept the situation to the best of their understanding and also spend time researching information regarding similar occurrences that may have been recorded. This leads them to an expert from Toronto, a Dr. Michel Thibeau, who believes the whole situation is the result of a quantum mechanical imbalance. Caused by a dream sequence triggered by Claire. Claire and Sarah, over time, grow to a deeper love for each other, and settle in for a life together. Long after Dr. Thibeau leaves, the dream sequence, Dr. Thibeau mentioned, takes Claire's dreams over again one night. The future will depend on the outcome of the quantum stretching dream.
