Raul Baez was born and raised in the Bronx, New York City. His early childhood consisted of massive traumatic experiences in a family of total chaos and dysfunction. The untreated trauma led to multiple encounters with depression, suicidal ideation, drug addiction, and incarcerated experiences. Raul attributes his transformation to God. With a renewed mind, he eradicated the values and belief systems that subjugated him for decades. He inevitably got educated with a degree in Real Estate Appraisal AS, Personal Finance BBS, and a master's in business. He has started a Sole Proprietorship, an S-CORP, and a nonprofit which is the genesis of Set Your Thoughts Free. He is fully passionate with the mission to equip individuals transitioning from prison with biblical principles, character development, and financial literacy. He has developed his program with various youth organizations, high schools, and multiple New York State and New England prisons.
Raul illuminates that the battles that count aren't the ones for gold medals. The struggle within and the fortitude to make the invisible visible are where you sculpt change.
