She's sought mentorship from experts like Dr. Nicole LePera to refine her message and career path. Her thought-provoking essays have appeared on Medium, including in the feminist column Fearless She Wrote. An accomplished singer and songwriter, Kelly has captivated audiences, performing background vocals for acclaimed artists like Keith Urban, Jimmie Allen, and Matt Stell. Her 2018 debut album, How We Really Feel, earned praise from independent music publications, and she continues to write and record alongside her Grammy-nominated husband, Eric Torres, in Nashville, Tennessee.
