The Asaan al-Atollen's ranks are split into Recruits, Acolytes, and Sisters......of which the dutiful, observant, and loyal Malina Varkallas is one. Likely the most remarkable and favored of the Sirens, Malina has been hand-picked by her mentor and Asaan al-Atollen leader Reverend Mother Diadra Maurian herself to undergo rigorous training in preparation for becoming the Shadow Scion; a title only bestowed to the Reverend Mother's top enforcer, bodyguard, extension of her will......and, ultimately, her destined successor.
But the Wyrmriders' attacks have been increasing, and their grand master is preparing to make the ultimate move with the goal of overrunning Quisillon once and for all.
