Alternative medicine treatments are numerous, including herbal medicine, flower and flower extract therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, color therapy, bee venom therapy, gemstone therapy, acupuncture, cauterization, cupping, blood purification, and many other diverse treatments. Since the Council of Ministers approved in Sha'ban 1429 AH, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz (may God have mercy on him), the establishment of a National Center for Alternative and Integrative Medicine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, I have been inundated with questions at an unimaginable rate, not only from within the Kingdom, but also from all Arab countries and a number of other countries around the world. Given the importance of these questions, and the general interest in alternative medicine worldwide, this prompted me to write this book, Questions and Answers on Alternative Medicine. Through it, I have attempted to answer the many questions posed to me at universities inside and outside the Kingdom, in seminars, and on my programs on satellite channels. With this book, I hope to enrich Arab libraries. God is the guide to the right path.
