To see the wheel of interpretation we are on, we need to step away and observe it first, look to learn and not to conclude straight away, based on our past. To look without classifying, looking without to grab, just to look. It is too complicated whilst on the wheel, too invasive to our body.
And then we lost our way: in emotions, feelings, impulses, pressures, fear and responses, lost, in the spaghetti of thinking where it was not meant to be in control, is now out of control in us.
So, we need to figure out what thinking is all about: doing to us, every single moment, pushing, pulling, diverting and seducing, away from what? What is it, that it does not want you to find?
This book is about the structure of thought, the thought generator and the effect it has on us, every moment of our life, every second we go along with it, identify and align with it, get personified by it.
You are not your thoughts. They happen to you, me and us all, they are there and to not be drawn into their deceitful temptations of wanting more of the same, is where the hard work lies, to not be identified with our thoughts. We need to harness them to keep up with reality, now, here.
Our focus needs to be at the root, not where and when the sequential accumulation occurs.
Not where it is too late in the process, already a tsunami in our heads, our body already in alarm phase 3, our experience already tarnished, too late, too influenced, too distractive and destructive.
Don't try not to think either: thinking is embedded in the structure of our system but it does not mean we cannot control it. We have not been taught how to, that is all. Time to learn that, now.
This book will go into our personalities, identities, the influence of society, labels on food, prescriptions from your GP, films and documentaries too and all they want you to do: believe them as reality, real about you. Defining you where they don't really know you: you are the specialist in you, you are unique, no one has your experiences, combinations and is also 24/7 with you, no one.
All thoughts are just stories about reality and thinking is exactly that: an idea, an option what reality might be. Reality just is, does not need or want anything.
No gods, no deities, no old scripture recitals, no wise phrases from Greek or older descendants, no instructions, no rituals, no guru's, no symbols either. Nothing, not a thing that you will find in this book but reality: plain, direct and perfect to begin with, comforting when you realize it.
