All my life I've known I wasn't the same as everyone else. While the other children were running abour, playing in the trees, I watched as my third-grade teacher stood ssilent near the swing set. Had I not witnessed her gruesome death the night before, it might have been okay. However, her pale, bloody corpse distorted in the noon-day sun, a mangled muffler twisted around her thin neck as her shallow, blank stare pierced my innocence. I shut my eyes and immediately I'm transported to a front row seat viewing the life draining from their earthly bodies. But I was never alone in these nightmares. He was big, tall in stature and confident in ways that were unimaginable for a human.
