Dee Hazim is a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a native Kansan. Dee is the founder and organizer of the Sisters Social Islamic Womens Organization for the Islamic Center of Topeka in Topeka Kansas. She is a member of Interfaith of Topeka and served as its Vice-president for 2013-2014. Dee was awarded the 2013 Positive Leadership Award by the Fountain of Abundance Islamic organization. Dee has worked as a volunteer in the womens prison Dawah (propagation of religion) efforts. Writing has been her passion since her teenage years. She is a published song writer and singer. Dee has been a business owner and entrepreneur for over 20 years.
