Daniel Kreiss is the Edgar Thomas Cato Distinguished Professor in the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Bruce Mutsvairo is Professor and Chair of Media, Politics and the Global South at Utrecht University.
