About the Author Brenda Harrison is a native of Fordyce, Arkansas. She graduated from Fordyce High School and attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Ms. Harrison received a B.S.E. in Elementary Education, Middle School English with a minor in Special Education. She later received a Masters of Education in Special Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Ms. Harrison currently teaches Special Education and Adult Education in the Little Rock School District.
