The author is the recipient of The Shelley Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America. *Author has taught for many years at Sonoma State University and also been a visiting professor at the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, the University of Denver, Vermont College, and Tulane University. *Author has been the editor of Volt, an annual poetry publication, for more than 20 years. In this capacity she has published scores of contemporary American poets. *Author has also been awarded the Jerome J. Shestack Poetry Prize, a National Endowment for the Arts grant, and a Fund for Poetry Award. *Author has toured across the country upon the release of her latest book A Little More Red Sun on the Human, including at Booksmith in San Francisco, ¿¿Beyond Baroque in Los Angeles, the University of Richmond, the University of Massachusetts, and So-and-So Books in Raleigh. *Conoley has collaborated with installation artist Jenny Holzer, composer Jamie Leigh Sampson, and Buhto dancer Judith Kajuwara.
