With the tailor made ability of possessing desirable properties, nano materials have great advantages in developing lethal and potent weapons. This volume kicks off with the chapter of "Nanotechnology in Defense: from Man, Machine and beyond; that gives a summary of requirement, applications, properties, challenges and covers the present and the futuristic aspects related to defense.
