This is followed by chapters dealing mostly with methods for structural elucidation, such as NMR and X-ray crystallography and IR and UV spectroscopy, as well as biosynthetic techniques. Significant chapters consider the analytical methods for mycotoxin analyses, including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay system and tandem mass spectrometry. The concluding chapter examines the mycotoxin analytical problem in taxonomic or ecological terms.
