The book is a revealing glimpse and a critical reading that monitors multiple experiences, contrasting visions, and various schools. Some lean toward symbolism, some toward fantasy, and a third is a documentary and historical work; some express personal experiences, and some mimic the reality of social life, with its diverse human models, and the contradictions, conflicts, and struggles for life that simmer within their souls, and the good and evil, love and hatred, debauchery and piety that simmer within it. Although the author has placed the works of these narrators under the microscope of literary criticism, he did not confiscate the reader's opinion, but rather left the door ajar, allowing him to observe between the lines the thoughts and inclinations of these descendants, and to learn about the environment that shaped their visions - for man is a product of his environment - and to discover the maturity and richness of the descendants' experience and the connotations it abounds with, and who among them possesses the rhythm of the language and embodies the pulse of life. He also presents these descendants on the scale of values ¿¿that does not lie or embellish, to distinguish the chaff from the wheat, what elevates his taste and what debases his thought, in order to judge for or against them.
