The beginning of this novel marks only a point of transition - there was a whole rich living before that which now stands as memories, and what comes after is only an imagined life story, composed of hopes and dreams. The main character, 'Hakan' has always been there and had lived those memories, the good and the bad, but 'Niki' has never existed and she never will! Was it because he was lost in thought that he became startled after seeing the car that suddenly passed his and whipped into the gas station, or was it Niki's mistake, driving so carelessly as her black, wavy hair was flowing in the air? Whatever the reason may have been, it was that exact moment that these two souls, who had refused to give up on life even after experiencing major disappointments, clinging to hope, even though it came in small doses, were now given the gift of their lives by destiny. One is a queen, full of enthusiasm for life, infecting others with it anytime and anywhere, at once impressing all those around her; she has incorporated passion into every corner of her life and has been able to find the perfect balance between her career and her private living. A female panther who is not afraid to experience all her emotions to the fullest and feeds off the happiness that is brought by sharing them with her partner. The other one is a king, incorporated his passion into his extensive life experience, a mature soul who also allows the child within him to come out and enjoy life at every opportunity; someone who has left a footprint of passion at each step, who measures the quality of living according to the amount of passion present and fully enjoys life by sharing each moment with his partner. A wise king who has been in constant pursuit of his queen, but finally had given up on finding her after experiencing a life fraught with disappointments.
