Born and raised Oklahoma Cherokee, Sam White Owl is a Hunter who has spent over 30 years tangling with the things that go bump in the night. He has been on more than 100 hunts, both alone and alongside other Hunters, including friends and his beloved Heather.
After facing down dogmen, wendigo, emela-ntouka, and so many more, Sam believes it's time to share what he knows and what he's done. Now, after a series of narrated Internet videos, he has collaborated with his nephew Elías Ramos to bring the first 10 of these letters into one unified collection.
Sam's letters are part survival guide, part memoir, incorporating cryptid ecology, cultural lore, and history alongside his own experiences.
