But Lady found that worldly success often demands compromise; she was lonely, empty, and losing her way. Just as she decided to put her life back in order, a heartbreaking incident changed her life and the lives of those around her. The past and the present come together as she journeys back home on a road that is far from what she had imagined. Lady's faith is gradually reaffirmed, and she discovers that God plans for her to serve Him-in the mansion Jesse had built for her.
