Murat Avan (born in 1989 in Ankara, Turkey) is a multidisciplinary creator, author, software engineer, interior designer, and 3D artist. He is best known for his science fiction and myth-inspired storytelling that bridges the gap between technology and imagination.
As the founder of AVAN Artworks Lab, Murat has developed several independent games and digital experiences that combine narrative depth with interactive design. His portfolio includes seven published games such as Project MESA, Operation Wave, Operation Wave 2, King of the AMON!, Euren the Endless Runner, The Atlas of Lemuria, and The Mechanism. Each title reflects his unique ability to merge software, art, and storytelling into a unified creative vision.
In 2018, Murat published the first volume of his science-fantasy saga King of the AMON! One Planet Is Much Like Another, a story that follows a nameless prince caught between the wars of two ancient races on the distant planet Gramaha. The novel gained international recognition and became available in 28 countries across Europe, North America, Oceania, and Asia.
By 2021, he expanded his work beyond game development to focus fully on writing and digital art. He established his own software and design company in Ankara, working on projects that integrate artificial intelligence, immersive worldbuilding, and futuristic storytelling.
Murat's creative philosophy centers on one idea: "A story should live beyond its pages." Whether through literature, code, or design, his works explore the timeless connection between human imagination and the digital universe.
