It is surely inspired from cryptocurrencies, but enables different functions. Basically, it is another interpretation with another goal - IOTA is geared towards machines and wants to enable an exchange from machine-to-machine. There are plenty of books on Bitcoin, but not so many on IOTA, although it is an equally fascinating cryptocurrency and platform. That's why I wrote this book, to answer the following questions:
