I freaked out as I saw this "thing" looking at me from over my feet area of the bed, and oh... it was touching my foot! I could feel the cold repulsiveness and roughness that was trying to grab my foot; I wanted to shriek, pull my foot away, kick out at it, but for the life of me... I still could not move! Terror struck my soul head-on, and my heart was not just racing; it was making flip-flops in my chest! I was thinking as fast as I could now, "Holy crap, what is this thing?" ... I am author K.
