To commemorate the centenary of World War I, Kapiti Coast District Libraries' second annual poetry contest If You're a Poet We Want to Know It welcomed poets of all ages to submit poems with the theme of "War & Peace". Well into the 21st century now, library staff decided that 2014 would be a good year to launch the poetry contest anthology as an eBook rather than limiting access to a few print volumes in each of the library branches. Our thanks to our Digital Services Team here at Kapiti Coast District Libraries, in particular Diana Holmes who "translated" the print into electronic form.
We hope you enjoy reading your own poems here as well as those of your fellow Kapiti area writers.
