Three months later, Matthew Heines announced his interest in running for Governor in Olympia, Washington. Four days after that, Matthew Heines was charged with assault for being attacked three months earlier. The City of Redmond tried to slander him and use the entire legal system to try to portray a teacher, a veteran and an author as a racist. At the same time, they did everything they could to destroy him financially and politically as well as endanger the lives of his wife and himself.
This is the fictionalized version of that story.
