From a young age I felt lost in the world not knowing the purpose or meaning of my life. I took it upon myself to actively listen to others and learn from their experiences, as well as read books to guide me. Like many others, I also struggled in silence with mental health. Since the age of six I noticed my mind overpowering my decisions and actions. I didn't understand what I was experiencing, let alone had the courage to share what I was going through with my parents, teachers, or friends. All I knew is I wanted peace in my mind. I tried searching for answers in books but couldn't find many books for children that brought awareness and provided assistance on mental health. These are the main reasons that I started writing - to help others that have questions like I did and learn through stories or the experiences of others as I still do today. The focus of my stories are to teach about life lessons, mental health, and kindness. By shedding light on these topics we realize we are not alone with our questions and together we can uplift each other and remind ourselves to have fun along the way.
