In a jealous rage over Jake and Lorie rekindling their past relationship, Strom kidnaps Lorie's son, Matt, and armed with guns and stolen cash, disappears. The town sheriff is in the pocket of Strom's wealthy father, and refuses to take action, forcing Lorie to turn to Jake for help.
