He has conducted many ISTE workshops in association with IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur. He is also coordinator for IIRS (Indian Institute of Remote Sensing) eoutreach programme. He has delivered guest lectures in many seminars / conferences in reputed engineering colleges. G. Sakthinathan, is serving as Associate Professor, Department of Manufacturing Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy Campus, Chennai, India. He has carried out many real time projects and brought significant changes through different technological interventions. He has many publications to his credit. He is engaged in many research projects in different government organisations and research institutions.
