Chemical control should only be used where essential and preferably with the advice of plant protection specialist. It is not easy to identify insect pests and diseases particularly from photographs. Readers are therefore to collect and preserve insects found on their crops and seek help from professional entomologist and pathologist to identify them and maintain specimen's collections for future reference.
