Into this madness walks Joe Dylan, a street-hardened investigator who doesn't just work the city's caseshe absorbs its rot. When a brutal killing in the Red Zone uncovers a network of illicit sex shows, fringe theater, and backroom violence, Dylan descends deeper into a realm where masks are mandatory and morality is worn as cloack.
Riotous patrons. Doomed lovers. Broken cops. Infectious diseases. Cabaret performers. The Eye camera system watches over all and social credits are deducted until citizens are subject to The Punch - a government reeducation program. Everyone plays a part in Fun City, everyone is being observed, even if they don't know it.

About the Author
James Newman has been described as "terrifically gifted, enormously energetic" by Edgar Award nominee Timothy Hallinan, and a writer who "strips away the bull****" by Shamus Award winner Christopher G. Moore. He has written fiction published since grade school and holds a Master of Arts in Victorian Gothic Literature. He lives in Bangkok, where he writes fiction and makes films.
