Generally a section of each design chapter is allocated to a discussion of the necessary soil properties/parameters. This book contain new computer-program listings to aid the user in developing and using the computational methods. The text programs are photocopies of listings made from operating computer programs in FQRTRAN IV as used on an IBM 370 computer.In this Book actual field data in the worked examples and home problems are provided. Selected answers for home problems are provided. In many cases where answers are not provided, this is because the answer depends on the problem assumptions, thus becoming too lengthy to provide in a textbook.
