My inspiration to write came about from working with children and familes over the years . My experience as a nursery teacher provide me with insight to see ,how stories inspired children to explore their knowledge and understing of their world and to celebrate one another identify through books . The most beautiful thing over the years is how children natural embrace multi-cutraul books and familes as a way of leaning and celebrate diversity . As a London Born Child I didn't have the opportunity of muti -cultural books and with that embrace the chance to share a story that conveys a Caribbean tale of advantage and friends.
