Joseph Smith Jr. accepted as premier prophet of our dispensation, the dispensation of the fullness of times, according to the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints, added 111 verses to Enoch's record at the request of the Lord God in the year 1830/31 beginning when the Church was but two months old. This record ties Enoch to the prophet Adam and to the prophet Noah like no other. It is filled with apocalyptic foreshadowing of things to come to the posterity of Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and his twelve sons.
