Nas últimas décadas, a produción teatral galega diversificouse de modo notábel relativamente ás propostas, temáticas e estéticas presentadas ao público, ben como no que atinxe aos modelos de xestión das unidades de produción. Ao mesmo tempo, os estudos globais do feito escénico ultrapasaron os límites tradicionais do paradigma filolóxico para proxectaren olladas máis escenocéntricas ou asentadas no cruzamento das dimensións literaria e espectacular.
Nun marco como o descrito, este libro presenta un mosaico de perspectivas e analistas que, en conxunto, pretenden oferecer unha visión transversal e actualizada do teatro galego.
