Janet Geisz is a child development specialist working with vulnerable and troubled children. She has been an educator for thirty years and a parent for twenty-five years. Holding an M.A. degree in the education of children with emotional and behavioral disorders, she is currently in a doctoral program studying early childhood development and learning. R. W. Alley is the illustrator for the popular Abbey Press adult series of Elf-help books, as well as an illustrator and writer of children's books.
