An abnormal thyroid function may influence the normal reproductive function. The present study was designed to evaluate the morphological and functional status of testis after ingestion of raw Bambusa arundinacea shoots for two consecutive reproductive cycles. The experimental animals were divided into two groups six on each division. Control groups rat were maintained with normal diet and treated group are received diet with 1/3 amount supplemented by raw Bambusa arundinacea shoots. The result show that raw Bambusa arundinacea shoots intake lower bodyweight as well as testicular weight, testosterone level and sperm count also decreased, and inhibition of ¿5-3ß HSD and 17ß HSD.
