Autor

Thomas Gerstmann wurde in Krefeld geboren. Nach dem Abitur arbeitete er als Hotelfachmann in Deutschland, England und der Schweiz, fuhr als Steward auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff und lernte als Flugbegleiter den Rest der Welt kennen. Mit 32 zog es ihn nach Japan. Dort unterrichtete er 17 Jahre Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Zuerst arbeitete er in verschiedenen Sprachschulen und später organisierte und leitete er seine eigenen Deutschkurse. Seit einigen Jahren lebt er als freiberuflicher Deutschtrainer mit seiner Familie in Düsseldorf. Ende 2015 ist sein erstes Buch "Verliebt in Tim" aus der Reihe Easy German Grammar Stories erschienen. Mit diesen Büchern möchte er seine Erfahrungen weitergeben und Lesevergnügen mit effektiven Grammatikerklärungen verbinden. Seine Bücher und das Zusatzmaterial auf seiner Homepage bieten dem Leser solide Werkzeuge für den erfolgreichen Spracherwerb. Sämtliche Fertigkeiten können vom Leser trainiert werden: Lesen, Hören, Schreiben, Sprechen, Erweiterung der Grammatikkenntnisse sowie der Aufbau des deutschen Wortschatzes. Thomas Gerstmann was born in Krefeld, Germany. After his A-levels he worked in several hotels in Germany, England and Switzerland. He also worked as a steward on a cruise ship and got to explore the rest of the world as a flight attendant. At the age of 32, he moved to Japan where he taught German as a foreign language in various language schools for 17 years. For the last few years he has been living with his family as an independent language teacher in Düsseldorf. At the end of 2015, his first book "Verliebt in Tim" was released from the series Easy German Grammar Stories. Using these books, he would like to pass on his experience and combine reading pleasure with effective grammar explanations. His books and the additional material on his website provide solid tools for successful language acquisition.
