Beverly Rose was born in 1961 in Cheshire, England, as the third child to a working class family. An intelligent and inquisitive child who was unfortunate to suffer cystitis frequently and developed many UTIs throughout adulthood. She worked hard at school and started work in an office on the day she left at the age of 16. She had a glowing career in communications lasting 28 years. A personal injury at work to her hearing meant that the job she loved came to an abrupt end in 2006. Following some treatments and several other jobs, she is now happy working as a secretary at the NHS. Beverly has been happily married to Sci-Fi author Christopher Thompson for over 15 years and has one daughter and two step-daughters. Beverly's motto in life has always been 'Be Prepared' and this is her first book in which she aims to project this strategy for other women to follow.
