The personnel policy adopted in tribal development finds a special and critical treatment. Brief ethnographic notes on a few tribes of representative nature have also been given. Coming as it is from an author who has been associated with the factual situation in the field of development, the book has a pragmatic and realistic base while dealing with the theoretical concerns of the subject.
