Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Untersuchung der Realisierbarkeit, reaktionsgebundenes Aluminiumoxid (RBAO) zu nutzen, um langfaserverstärkte oxidkeramische Verbundwerkstoffe mit einer geringeren Menge an durch Schrumpfung bedingten Rissen herzustellen. Dazu wird ein neues Verfahren entwickelt, bei dem thermoplastische Prepregs durch ein zweistufiges Imprägnierungsverfahren unter Verwendung von organisch basierten Suspensionen hergestellt werden. Es werden Verbundwerkstoffe mit sowohl RBAO als auch einer oxidischen Referenzmatrix produziert und charakterisiert. Eine detaillierte Analyse der Mikrostruktur und der mechanischen Eigenschaften der hergestellten Verbundwerkstoffe ermöglicht eine kritische Bewertung des entwickelten Herstellungsverfahrens sowie der Verwendung der RBAO-Matrix in oxidkeramischen Verbundwerkstoffen.
