Jim couldn't wait to escape into the secluded wilderness around the majestic mountains of Wyoming, smoke a joint and laze his remaining days away. Had some very bad people not had the same location in mind and murder on their minds, things might have turned out just the way he planned. But over and over again, evil beats Jim to the summit and he's forced to take a life to save his own and others. When the local sheriff appoints him to the position of deputy all that does is put Jim directly in the spotlight and when the media learns about the number of people who ended up too dead to ever receive the benefit of a fair trial and they find out every one of those deaths has in common the involvement of a man named Jim Taylor, rumors circulate that a "Death Squad" is killing for sport and that Jim is always the first person with his finger on the trigger. Nothing could be further from the truth but that doesn't stop the masses from believing what they want to believe. And it certainly doesn't stop other sick, twisted individuals from learning about Jim Taylor and becoming more determined than ever to make sure his next ride into the wilderness is his last.
