Most modern-day scientists accept some form of Neo-Darwinism, in which life evolved from a common ancestor via natural processes. However, the reality is that neo-Darwinian theory has never been proven and contains very many flaws. Yet, the ideology of Darwinism has become so embedded into the scientific orthodoxy that most scientists today simply refuse to look at the evidence that refutes evolution, and are determined to find mechanisms to explain what they already accept as fact.
