It was argued in 2007 that is nlikely that nanocomputers will be made out of semiconductor transistors, as they seem to perform significantly less well when shrunk to sizes under 100 nanometers; however, as of 2011 it is projected that 22 nm lithography devices will ship before 2012. This is based on nano technology and infact one of its major application. Nano components of such machine make it efficient to use.
