Th e beauty of this philosophy is that compassion is universal. It is surface and it is eff ective. In an overall sense, you can learn to deal with daily traffi c problems without becoming emotionally involved or having a traffi c jam ruin your whole day. As they say, we cant control others actions, what they do, or how they feel. Th ey also say that nothing we individually do can change the world. But what you do can change your world. Th ese methods and tactics can change your whole outlook on the whole worlds situation. Individually, we can fi nd peace and make sense of the chaos by being still within the center of our own universe. Finding, seeing and making the magic happen in your own world and circles, starts with fi nding your own personal center. Personal center skill sets are set up in easy to follow chapters in my second book Crusade to Center. Th is book on Compassionate Communication is a prerequisite to fi nding your own personal center. First you need to dislodge the myth that the world revolves around you. Once you see that others are the center of their own universe, you can see how you are barely a blip on their screen. Look around and see the world in a whole light. Its fun. Who knows? You may be in need of a change. I call it tweaking. You dont have to change much. Just tweak your outlook. Give everyday a meaningful purpose. Blindly following patterns and habits defeats the purpose and ownership of freewill. Keep the mind free to focus on the future and personal achievements by following simple skills and tasks that keep us on Course.
