These approaches are based on three objectives: (i) sustainably increasing agricultural productivity to support equitable increases in farm incomes, food security, and development; (ii) adapting and building the resilience of food systems to climate change; and (iii), where possible, reducing GHGs emissions from agriculture. This book provides updated information for these climate-smart agricultural technologies that hold high potential to increase productivity, improve resilience, and provide efficient resource utilization.
