In the world of Eden a great evil has befallen mankind. Monsters of an unknown origin roam the lands, searching for those to use in populating their various races with. However, all the monsters in Eden are female, unable to give birth to any males for their kind. It's a dark time in the world and mankind is at war not only with itself but also the monsters that threaten to steal away all of their men. Within this great struggle, there are those who wish to instill peace and order among the different races, while others advocate for anarchy and destruction for all. There are heroes, there are villains. And then there are those who walk that fine line between them. This story is of the latter.
Within the troubled region of Glyphmare, a deadly monster war has recently ended, leaving the land in a state of disorder and uncertainty. A fallen kingdom lies in ruins, monsters and humans are vying for control, and powerful artifacts and treasure have become lost amidst the chaos. Needless to say, there's plenty of work to be done for the bounty hunters of this land. And one of those hunters seeks not only fame and fortune, but also something far more valuable, something beyond the reach of those in the mortal realm. However, there is something that sets this hunter apart from the rest. It's not that he has trust issues with everyone he meets, or that he's a necromancer that can raise the dead.
