Through a detailed legal study, Dr. Nael Girgis, the Christian influence of the social and legal system on the rights of Christian women, and the Islamic influence on their rights as well, sheds light on many of the issues that detract from those rights, including: depriving her of inheritance, custody of her children, granting her citizenship to them, and obliging her to obey and submit to men.
