Autor

Damian A. Albarano has an educational background in Criminology, Sociology and Psychology. He founded Total Awareness Project as a culmination of his life's work. He attained the rank of black belt and has practiced martial arts for over thirty years. Additionally, he is a certified yoga teacher. He has worked with individuals from all walks of life, faiths and cultural backgrounds with whom he has shared various experiences. Three personal experiences that have shaped his human understanding were the death of his brother, his NYPD experience during the events of 9/11, and Superstorm Sandy, when he founded Survivors of Sandy to help alleviate the needs of those affected. He has lived in New York City most of his life and now resides in New Jersey where he cares for and nurtures honey bees.
