Other topics discuss synthesis of some novel 11-deoxyprostaglandins; bicycles, tricycles and prostaglandin synthesis; chemical and biological studies on new prostanoids; and isolation and characterization of enzymes involved in prostaglandin biosynthesis. Structure activity relationships of prostaglandins and a biochemical background of caloric restriction therapy of obesity are also explained.
