This eBook is actually a lesson to everybody. No matter what stage you have reached in life, you should not be proud. We should always learn to remember our foster or biological parents who contributed to what we are today. They sacrificed a lot of time, money and love for us. For this reason, we owe them a lot of appreciation. We owe a debt to them. This also applies to people raised by uncles and aunts. Being appreciative towards them also adds to our blessing. Children must not always copy their parents' negative lifestyles (for example excessive drinking and doing drugs).
Parents have to be tolerating. You can scold a child when that child does something wrong but do not curse the child. Such curses are terribly difficult to break. When your child becomes condemned, it will be a shame to the parents as well. This does not mean children should keep tempting their parents.
People should also learn to make good friends for it is said that bad company corrupts good morals. It is also said that "show me your friends and I will tell you who you are". This does not however apply in every case.
This eBook concerns a father whose negligence for his grandmother brought negative consequences to him and his family. One thing I do not understand in this life is that people hear stories of what certain habits like negligence do to others but do not learn from them. It is true that when someone does something for someone that person must not necessarily get any reward from that person but from God. Does that really mean parents who train their children are just doing it for God?
In certain communities around the world, parents have children so that they grow to help them in their old age. This is especially true in some African traditions where it is even believed that the more children one gets the more old age security one gets as well. How then can someone take care of you as a child even if that person happens not to be your biological parent, then you abandon that person for any reason whatsoever?
People ought to be appreciative .You cannot say you do not want to go to your village just because you have tasted city life and seen how good it is. No matter what we have achieved in life, we never have to forget our where we came from originally.

Scholarships are no longer available and treachery and blackmail are the order of the day. The future seems bleak and life is unbearable.
