Sadly, she was not given permission to care for orphans at the orphanage as she'd hoped, only to help at a local hospital. She returned home, feeling confused and disappointed. However, confirmation after confirmation drew her back to Romania, even though it seemed her opportunity to care for orphans was closed. On the first day back to the hospital, an orphaned baby girl named Casandra had just been brought in and needed extra care. Halie and Casandra's bond grew, and God's power and plan unfolded.
