When her lover and partner is hospitalized after running a mission for the secretive Malleus Libram Society, Myorca is confronted with a couple of ugly truths. First and foremost, the Society they are collecting mythos lore and artifacts for, ostensibly to keep them out of the hands of bad people, may well be the bad people themselves. Second, the fiend responsible for her lover's hurts is still busy spreading corruption and evil ... and needs to be stopped. Her lover was unsuccessful in carrying out her mission, and now it appears to be Myorca's turn up at bat. Will Myorca succeed where Ulele failed, or is she being set up for an even bigger fall?
