These negative approaches only create ill-will and ill-feelings between parent and child. Unfortunately, they are also ineffective in the long run. Therefore, the generally accepted behavioral principles in the management of children are set forth in the thirty-one questions. Read each question and consider how you would handle that particular situation or utilizing that particular discipline strategy in the home with your children. It is recommended that you read one item per day or week. Do so for 30 days or weeks as you learn effective parenting strategies.
